Description
Pickled Papaya – Also known as atsara or achara, is a well-known pickled condiment in the Philippines made from unripe, green papaya. Other versions are made of radish (daikon or lobok). With its crispy texture and a refreshing combination of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. This green papaya pickle usually enjoyed as an appetizer and also often served as a side dish for fried or grilled foods such as pork, chicken and seafood barbecue, and even as a healthy snack.
